CATEGORY 3: Call for performers

Performers desiring to play in the festival should submit a list of works currently in their repertoire, or also pieces they would like to prepare. Improvisation-centered projects will also be accepted, as well as interdisciplinay proposals. 3 recent recordings (audio or video) and an additional document should also be enclosed, detailing the repertoire that the artist has been recently working with, and in case of performances an explanation of the improvisating methods used. Proposals presented in this category will always imply the live participation of the artists (being they either musicians or artists coming from other disciplines). Projects selected may be included in the annual programme of the CMMAS (Centro Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras) during the next season.

Modality 3A- Soloists or groups specialized in contemporary music interpretation
Modality 3B- Soloists or groups specialized in contemporary improvisation
Modality 3C- Interdisciplinary groups or soloist: for performers working with the interaction between the sound phenomenon and other artistic disciplines (dance , video, sound installations, etc. ).
