OPEN CALL MIXTUR 2016

Festival Mixtur, in collaboration with Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació, announces a call for international creators, with the aim of promoting artistic and musical projects at Festival Mixtur. The Festival will take place on 21 April-1 May 2016 in Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació (Barcelona). The Open Call has four different categories (check each one to know the details and selected artists):

• CATEGORY 1 – Instrumental or mixed works
  • a) Selection of instrumental works
  • b ) Selection of mixed works
• CATEGORY 2 – Commissions
  • a) Of instrumental or mixed work
  • b ) Of electroacoustic work
• CATEGORY 3 – Performers
  • a) Group and soloist specialized in the interpretation of contemporary music
  • b ) Group or soloist specialized in contemporary improvisation
  • c ) Multidisciplinary group or soloist
• CATEGORY 4 – electroacoustic music or video creation

The deadline to apply  for Category 2 is November 22th 2015 at 23.59h, and the deadline for proposals for Categories 1, 3 and 4 is  December 15th 2015 at 23.59h. Proposals must be sent by filling out the online application form that you can find in each category.
